Great news for PO III aspirants!!

Really a big relief to the candidates who wanted to appear for IBPS PO III but were hopeless due to eligibility criteria prescribed by IBPS for the year 2013. But today (22nd July 2013) being a great day for all those aspirants, IBPS has issued a new notification regarding revised eligibility criteria which is

1)No 60% in graduation
2)Age limit- 20-30

IBPS PO 3 NOTIFICATION

After successfully conducting  po2 IBPS has come up with po3 notification. The tentative date set by IBPS is

october. There has been several changes this time , which could or couldnt favour one's side.

Firstly the exam would be conducted online, this could be really difficult for candidates who are not that

tech savy.

Secondly IBPS has reduced the age limit to 28 (previously 30)

Thirdly they have now kept a minimum cut off of 60% in graduation , which previously was not mandatory.

Fourthly Ibps has reduced the maximum marks to 200 (whch previously was 250) n time limit to 2 hrz

Since banking jobs are in a great demand now a days , so day by day the competition is increasing.

Cracking a bank exam is not that rocket science , all u need is hard work and little bit of luck .

As per notification ibps will come up with the 2nd list after september 2013. Still there is a lot of confusion n queries regarding the cut off marks and  the possibility of 2nd list .

Staff Selection Commission has declared the final result of Combined Higher Secondary Level Exam 2012 for the the post of Lower Division Clerk and Data Entry Operator on 22.05.2013.

Bank Clerk Salary Structure

Salary Structure of Public Sector Bank Clerks in India

The salary of Bank clerk based on the DA (as on May'2013)

Salary of clerks in most of the Public Sector Banks and some of the Private Banks( who agree to the bipartite settlement of Banks) is same. And last revision in the pay scale has taken place w.e.f November 1,2007.

Almost all the Public Sector Banks place the clerks in the following Pay-scale at the 1st stage of the grade.

Rs. 7200 - (400 * 3) - 8400 - ( 500 * 3) - 9900 - (600 * 4) - 12300 - (700 * 7) - 17200 - (1300 * 1) - 18500 - (800 * 1) - 19300

Initial Basic Pay of a clerk is Rs.7200/-. The figures in the brackets are the annual increment and the number of years they are applicable for. For example. Starting pay is 7200 in May,2013. Annual increment of Rs.400. i.e. in May,2014, basic pay will be 7200+400=7600. This will follow for 3 years. And after 3 years basic pay will be Rs.8400/- with annual increment of 500 for next 3 years and so on.

Other major allowances paid on monthly basis to a bank clerk:

1)  DA (Dearness Allowance): DA in Banks revise on quarterly basis i.e. in the month of February,May,August and November based on CPI as declared by the Government of India. Current DA for the month of May'2013 is 84.15% of the Basic Pay. DA can go up with higher inflation or go down if the inflation is in negative. So DA will be around 84.15% of 7200 = 6058.8

2) HRA (House Rental Allowance) : This depends on the place of posting and it can either be 10%( Metro cities with population more than 45lakhs ) or 9%(population more than 12 lakhs including Goa) or 7.5% (population more than 5lakhs) or 7% (other places).

Total in hand salary including HRA ( if one does not avail leased accommodation) will be around like this:

For Metro Cities : 13978 (approx 14000)
For Places with 9% HRA : 13906.80
For places with 7% HRA : 13798.80
For other places : 13762.80


NEW UPDATE : 10th Bipartite settlement is due for Bank Staffs/employees since November 2012. After this is implemented, it is expected that salary at the entry level in the clerical post will be around 18-20k/month.

As soon as IBPS send the selected candidates details to their allotted Banks, work of IBPS is over here.

IBPS has published its final result / allotment on 06.05.2013 on its official website.

Here, starts the work of the individual Banks. Now each individual Bank will publish the list of roll numbers or along with the branch details of their candidates in their prospective manners.

As of now three of the banks has published their list on their official website. i.e. Indian Overseas Bank, UCO Bank and United Bank of India.

UCO Bank has published the list of roll numbers of selected candidates.Date of Joining is 1st July 2013. Click HERE to check the UCO Bank  list.

IOB has published a notification regarding allotments along with the list of roll numbers of the selected candidates. Click HERE to check the IOB list.

And rest of the Banks will follow more or less the same kind of procedure.

"Each and every selected candidate do not panic. Its time for you to relief."  You will get an e-mail and post of your appointment letter including your joining date and venue details at your door steps , as soon as your allotted Bank releases it.

Then some bank will call you for medical check up like UBI and for some Banks you have to complete the medical report on your own in the Bank's prescribed format like IOB follows.

For CLERICAL Post, unlike POs, in your appointment letter your reporting BRANCH will be mentioned. And you have to report at the branch on the date prescribed to you along with your all documents. And then starts the journey of your new career.

NO, there will be NO TRAINING at the starting of your joining. You will be given your Branch where you will work/learn for the next THREE MONTHS, Then a ONE WEEK TRAINING will be provided to you. And again your posting at the Branch. And After completion of 6 (SIX) complete months i.e. PROBATION PERIOD (for clerk), You will be absorbed as a permanent employee.

IBPS has revised the vacancy list for IBPS Clerk II just before the allotments.

After completion of filling up the preferences, IBPS has made changes in the already published vacancy list.

In the revised list, vacancies are changed in some of the stater in different categories. West Bengal has lost some seats and other few states like Orissa, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh.

This revised vacancy list can be seen in the official website of IBPS under the tab of clerical CWE 2012 in the notification for preference filling i.e. second point under the clerk 2012 tab.

SSC CGL (21st April) paper leaked!!!!

SSC(Staff Selection Commission) Combined Graduate Level Exam held on 21st April 2013 in various centres of India Question Paper leaked!!

Nine persons, including policemen and teachers, were arrested by the Delhi Police Crime Branch on Sunday for running a cheating racket during the Graduate Level Examination-2013 held by Staff Selection Commission across the country.
One of the accused, Macchita Malik, a resident of Sector 23 Rohini, is a Sales Tax Inspector in Delhi and has appeared in an interview for Civil Services. Two of the accused -- Ashu Sharma and Mukesh Kumar -- are teachers at Municipal Corporation schools. Sahil Kadyan and Ajit Singh, both residents of Sonepat, are constable and head constable respectively. Lohit Vats of Najafgarh is a Lower Division Clerk at the Ministry of External Affairs in Delhi. Amit Kumar of Rewari is also a teacher, while Ravinder Singh and Kulvir Singh are students.
Acting on a tip-off, a Crime Branch team led by Inspector B. K. Badola mounted a raid at a house in Pooth Kalan on April 21 and found all the nine accused present inside a room with two laptops, a printer and mobile phones. The accused had received the question paper on an electronic device from one Bijender Chhikara and were trying to solve the same.
The question paper in possession of the accused was found to be photocopy of the original paper.

IBPS clerk 2 result analysis

Well after a detailed analysis , responses from various institutes we have come to a conclusion that expected cut off for the 1st list will be somewhat around 64+ .. Though its just an analysis so marks could come down or rise by 1% depending on different states. Category wise expected cut off are given below :-

GEN - 64+
OBC - 61+
SC - 56+
ST - 49+



Now if you have applied from states like UP, MAHARASHTRA, TAMIL NADU , ANDHRA PRADESH then cut might be bit low for those states as there are huge number of vacancies . For these states the expected cut off might be :-

GEN - 62+
OBC- 59+
SC-   55+
ST -  49


So if you have secured marks as mentioned above, then you have a good chance. All the best !!!

SSC CGL date change

SSC is going to conduct the combined graduate level exam on 14th and 21st of April 2013 all over India.
But SSC yesterday(12.04.13) just before 2 days of the 1st day of examination notified in its Official Website that the date of exam which was on 14.04.13 has been changed and the new date is 28.04.2013.

SSC CGL Exams on 14th April  in all the regions of India has been cancelled due to declaration of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar's Birthday as closed holiday. So exams on 14th April will now be conducted on 28th April 2013.

Candidates are requested to download their revised admit cards on 21st April onwards.

And that will be closed on 22nd April 2013.
So it is a advise to the selected candidates to not miss the chance and fill their preferences in the prescribed dates.

After filling preferences has been done. IBPS will allot Banks to the candidates depend on their combined score and preference they have given.

Allotment will be done in the month of MAY.

IBPS has conducted IBPS CWE Clerical Cadre Written Examination from 16th December 2012 to 29 December 2012. It was the first time when IBPS has conducted examination through online mode. And because of the online pattern IBPS could display the result of common Online Exam within 10days of the last Online exam.
Then the qualified Candidates were called for the Common Interview which was held between 16th to 30th March 2013.

Now, appeared candidates are eagerly waiting for the final results where they can see their sum up total percentage published by IBPS on their OFFICIAL WEBSITE.

IBPS has notified earlier that this result would be out in the 2nd week of April. And from today 2nd week has already started. So keep fingers crossed!

CBI SWO 2012-13 result out!!

CENTRAL BANK OF INDIA SWO RESULTS!!

Central Bank Of India published the results for the recruitment of Single Window Operator in Clerical Cadre  exam held on 27/11, 04/12, 11/12 and 18/12/2011.

CBI organised the interviews on 18/02/2013, 19/02/2013, 22/02/2013, 23/02/2013, 25/02/2013 & 26/02/2013 based on the common written exam by IBPS (i.e IBPS clerk I) score.
Now the finally selected candidates will be called for their medicals and document verification. Clearing which they will get appointment in Clerical Cadre in Central Bank of India. So all the best to the candidates appeared in the interview for their results.

How to Download SBI PO Admit Card 2013 ?

Downloading an Admit card is not that difficult as one many assume.For Those who frequently apply for Competitive exams Like Banks, SSC, USC will find themselves at ease on downloading the Admit cards.Here are a few simple steps to manually download the Admit cards:

1. Log on to SBI Official Website @ www.sbi.co.in and click on the Recruitment Link on the Left side of the page.
2. On the Recruitment Page, click on the appropriate link for Downloading the SBI Admit card
3. On the Admit Card download page, you need to Enter your Registration Details and Click on the Submit Button.The Registration Details were generated at the time of Online registration and the same were emailed to you at your respective email address
4. After you click on the Submit Button and if your Registration Details are correct, then your Admit card will appear on the Screen.You can either SAVE It for taking Print out later OR if the Printer is attached, you can take Print out immediately

In this way, you can download the SBI PO Admit card 2013.Now you have to paste your Photograph in marked space.

Identity Proof is Required

Candidates will have to bring the Identity Proof is Original as well as Photocopy.The Identity proof can be any of these Documents: Passport /PAN Card/Driving Licence/Voter's Card/Unique Identification Card (AADHAR)/ Bank Passbook with duly attested Photograph/Identity Card issued by School or College/ Gazetted Officer

Although the Date of Written Exam is tentatively fixed on 28th April, 2013, but the Bank may conduct the exam on more than two dates, if need arises.

Note: Candidates must note that No hard copy of Admit cards will be sent to the candidates at their postal addresses.

FINAL SCORING PATTERN OF IBPS CLERK 2

As  the IBPS Clerk 2 interviews are ending today, candidates are most concerned about the final score they will get and will that be enough for getting a Bank for Clerical post! Here I am posting the pattern used by IBPS to find out the final percentage of an individual candidate. Hope this helps you binding up your confidence. So here is the technique:

IBPS takes a few percentage from your written marks and few percentage from your interview. The ratio used between the two is 80:20.
80% of the %age you got in written = 0.8 * written marks * 100

                                                                               200
and,

20% of the %age you got in interview = 0.2 * interview marks * 100
                                                                                    100
Then will add the 2 %ages to get your final score.


Here I am giving an example to make you understand better:

Say you got 130 in written and 60 in interview, your final percantage will be like this:
(0.8 * 130/200 *100 ) + (0.2 * 60/100 * 100) =52 + 12 = 64
So in this way your final score will be 64.


NOW, the point is what written or interview marks will be enough for getting selected.

For example,
If You got 140 in written ur score from written only is 56, now it depends on the interview you have faced. If your interview was awesome say u get 80. your combined score will be 56 + 16 = 72.
And if it was average or even below average, say u get just 45, your combined score will be 56 + 9 = 65. Still a good score.
This is a plus point for high scorer in CWE.

But for the candidates who didn't get that high score in written, don't have to dishearten, here you see everything depends on the interview.
 For example:
If you got say 121, your %age from written score is 48.4 and if you had given a good interview and get around 85, your combined score will be 48.4 + 17 = 65.4. See its a good score equivalent to the person got 140 in written but 45 interview. So don't loose hope, everyone has equal chances of getting selected till now.


The final selection in the first list will be dependent on the cut-off of your particular state decided by IBPS.
The final result of IBPS Clerk 2 will come in the 2nd week of April, then you will be asked to give your Bank preferences in the last week of April. Then Final Allotment will be done in the Month of May.!!

Waiting list for IBPS PO 2

         GOOD NEWS!! GOOD NEWS!! GOOD NEWS!!

It seems like bank are in a hurry to recruit people .1st to sent appointment letter was BOB, candidates are asked for their date of joining and before 30th of this month they have to fill the preference. So its a good news for alll the waiting list people as they will be getting an intimation soon.. Expected within 31st May.
And as so many candidates are waiting for the waiting list to come, All will not be called in the 1st waiting list. As soon as all the banks complete their joining process, waiting list will be declared by IBPS. Again the candidates will get sms/mail intimation by IBPS regarding their allotment status.

Now, WHO will be called in the waiting list.
1st allotment cutoff was like this :

General : 62.12
OBC:  58.32
SC: 55.84
ST: 47.36

According to the analysis done, cutoff will not be down by more than 1 To .5% in each section for the 1st waiting list. The cutoff will be around like this:

General : 61.12
OBC:  56.5-57
SC: 54-54.5
ST: 46

And again the rest candidates have to wait for the 2nd waiting list, which will be again out as soon as all the banks are done with their 2nd joining process.

Allotment process for CWE PO/MT-II (vacancies of Probationary Officers/Management Trainees) for
2013-14 to the 21 participating organizations has since been completed. Candidates are being intimated
individually through sms at the mobile number mentioned by them in the online application form for
CWE PO/MT-II. Allotment has been done based on merit-cum-preference keeping in view the spirit of
various guidelines issued by Govt. of India/Others from time to time. The following table indicates the
category-wise maximum and minimum scores (combined scores in CWE and Interview out of 100) for
allotment. In the event of two or more candidates having obtained the same score, merit order is decided
as per date of birth (the candidate senior in age is placed before the candidate junior in age).

No rise/fall in cutoff for IBPS PO allotment

Cancellation of IBPS PO/MT 2 provisional allotment left with a big question mark with all the candidates.
All are predicting something or something will be done. For, eg. Cutoff will fall down for generals, many more students will get allotments who dint get alloted the last time or many reserved candidates have to loose their chances. All these were just assumptions.

One of the candidates has mailed to IBPS regarding changes in the final allotments. IBPS replied to him and said "ONLY Allotments amy or may not be revised as they were made provisional.

This is the message posted on IBPS official website. This will change the bank allotted to you . There could be 3 possibilities behind this:-
1) As many candidates were complaining that the reserved candidates got the allotment of Bank Of Baroda (which is the top most Bank of India), So this is unfair with general students, so IBPS may be reshuffling the allotments!!

2) Percentage criteria: Percentage criteria of particular Banks may be the reason. For eg. Graduaton percentage criteria of IOB was 60%, but IBPS has  allotted many candidates to IOB who does not full fill the criteria.

3) IBPS itself is so confused to give us a definite solution..lol

The Final chance of CWE qualified candidates to secure job at one of Public Sector Banks has arrived. With the Common Interview by IBPS for clerks will begun on 16th march 2013. By now you would have received many tips for preparing for bank interviews and areas to cover. But what are the common mistakes to avoid at the time of interview?

Lets take a quick look on the Interview process. There will be no individual banks interviewing now onwards, so all will happen is common interview. So all the written qualified students have JUST 1 chance to make or to break n qualify themselves for final selection!! So here are my tips for avoiding mistakes in the interview..

As per candidates previous experiences, there will be 4-5 members in the interview Panel. They may or may not be from any PSBs.

First of all You will be called for document varification. After document varification you will be called for the INTERVIEW which will lasts around 8-13mins with 11-14 questions..

COMMON INTERVIEW MISTAKES

These are 4 areas where most of the candidates fail to qualify an interview.. :-

1)Not knowing about youself and getting nervous: There will be 2 kind of fixed question in banking question. i.e. tell me something about yourself. Trust me! No one know you better than You do. So answer it as you feel confidently. And be prepare for more questions relating you and your background.

And another one will be why you choose baking sector? People finds the best answer for this question every where, but let me tell you, there isn't one. But there should be a good reason behind that. Follow your instincts, and make your own statement/reason which actually pushes you to join banking. Be youself!!
Be confident, dont get nervous, they are human beings, and trust me most of panel members are very friendly .

2) No knowledge about banking sector: With 1 lakh aspirants in race for 32453 clerk vacancies across 21 public sector banks is a heavy competition. Therefore it is important to showcase urself the best among others. This is how you can accomplish it.

• Memorise bank related terminologies like SLR,CRR,bank rate, infaltion, deflation etc etc.
• Go through banking awareness books u have read at the time of online exam once again.
• You can also surf net for banking updates.

3) Avoiding the general knowledge part: Occational newspaper reading alone will not help you gain general knowledge especially when news flow rapidly nowadays. Since there is no preset/fixed topic for interviews, questions can range from national, international to sports or business.

Stay updated with all the current news by following regular newspaper, TV news channel or internet, and note down the important headlines in a note pad and maintain that regularly.

Sometimes your interview can just be GK based. So u must be aware of some common facts about India, constitution , currencies and capitals of states and countries

4) Relying too much on others: Interview experiences are guiding tools which will help you to get an outline of the procedure. But dont expect to learn everything by glancing through shared interview experiences only.

Similarly over-reliance on books is also detrimental as it shall sound vague.Despite give your own answers making them realistic which interviewers love to hear.

IBPS has successfully conducted its 2nd CWE PO/MT exam on 17th june 2012. And its result was declared on october. And then IBPS itself conducted Common Interview for all Successful candidates, which was held in January 2013. Now when the results of Common Interview have been published by the IBPS, successful candidates are in great dilemma that whether they got a secured position for getting a PO job in one of the Nationalised Bank or not!! Guys we are here to help YOU..
Over 7.5 lakh candidates appeared for the PO written examination. out of which 8 % i.e 61,339 candidates passed the written. They all were called for the common Interview, which was of 100 marks. 

Results of common interview were released on 9th of feb 2013

	The minimum qualifying marks in interview is 40% for General (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD categories)

According to analysis made by all the web sites around 47k candidates qualified the interview. 

Then all the qualified students were asked to give there preference for 21 public sector banks. It was over by 28 th feb. Now candidates are eagerly for the allotment process of IBPS which seems to be not tranparent. We have some expected cut off  for the 1st list.......
