GOOD NEWS!! GOOD NEWS!! GOOD NEWS!!
It seems like bank are in a hurry to recruit people .1st to sent appointment letter was BOB, candidates are asked for their date of joining and before 30th of this month they have to fill the preference. So its a good news for alll the waiting list people as they will be getting an intimation soon.. Expected within 31st May.And as so many candidates are waiting for the waiting list to come, All will not be called in the 1st waiting list. As soon as all the banks complete their joining process, waiting list will be declared by IBPS. Again the candidates will get sms/mail intimation by IBPS regarding their allotment status.
Now, WHO will be called in the waiting list.
1st allotment cutoff was like this :
General : 62.12
OBC: 58.32
SC: 55.84
ST: 47.36
According to the analysis done, cutoff will not be down by more than 1 To .5% in each section for the 1st waiting list. The cutoff will be around like this:
General : 61.12
OBC: 56.5-57
SC: 54-54.5
ST: 46
And again the rest candidates have to wait for the 2nd waiting list, which will be again out as soon as all the banks are done with their 2nd joining process.

जागरण संवाददाता, देहरादून: यदि आप बैंकिंग सेक्टर में कार्य करने के इच्छुक हैं तो आपके लिए राहतभरी खबर। केनरा बैंक इस वित्तीय वर्ष में बैंक में भर्ती के दरवाजे खोल रहा है। बैंक ने देशभर में 7900 कार्मिकों की भर्ती करने का निश्चय किया है। इनमें 4300 अधिकारी और 3600 कर्मचारी शामिल होंगे। भर्ती प्रक्रिया जून-जुलाई तक शुरू हो जाएगी। यही नहीं, बैंक ने उत्तराखंड में इस साल 35 नई शाखाएं खोलने का निर्णय भी लिया है।
केनरा बैंक के निदेशक और केनरा बैंक आफीसर्स एसोसिएशन के अखिल भारतीय महासचिव जीवी मणिमारन ने रविवार को यहां संवाददाताओं से बातचीत में यह जानकारी दी। उन्होंने कहा कि नई भर्ती से जहां बैंक शाखाओं में कार्मिकों की कमी दूर होगी, वहीं ग्राहकों को और बेहतर सुविधा भी मिल सकेंगी। एक सवाल पर उन्होंने कहा कि केनरा बैंक ने इस वित्तीय वर्ष में उत्तराखंड में अपनी शाखाओं की संख्या 100 करने का लक्ष्य रखा है। वर्तमान में शाखाओं की संख्या 65 है। नई शाखाओं के लिए सर्वे चल रहा है।
उन्होंने कहा कि बैंक ने इस वर्ष ऋण वितरण में प्राथमिकता और कृषि क्षेत्र में विशेष फोकस का निर्णय लिया है। यही नहीं, वित्तीय समावेशन के लिए पुरजोर प्रयास किए जा रहे हैं। बैंक की कोशिश है कि प्रत्येक व्यक्ति तक बैंकिंग सुविधा का लाभ पहुंचे। एक सवाल पर श्री मणिमारन ने बैकों के मर्जर के प्रस्ताव को गलत ठहराते हुए कहा कि कहा कि एसोसिएशन इसका विरोध करेगी।
Punjab National Bank goes to hire 8000 personnel this Year | Hope For IBPS PO2 Candidates
ReplyDeleteThe public sector lender, Punjab national Bank has announced that it will hire almost 8000 candidates annually for the next few years. The hiring will be carried out to fill vacancies for its 500 new bank branches that it plans to open in the current fiscal year.
On the matter, the Executive Director of PNB, Mr. S. R. Bansal said, "We will be recruiting 6,000-8,000 personnel each year for the next few years." He further added, "As of now, we have over 5,800 branches across the country. In the current year, we plan to open another 500 branches. The new branches would include about 22 in Tamil Nadu and 10 in Tiruchirapalli circle alone."

Lucknow: Efforts of the Uttar Pradesh government led by Chief Minister Mr. Akhilesh Yadav to give a impetus to the banking sector and increase the ratio of banks to population in the State is set to get a major boost on March 29, as the Union Finance Minister Mr. P. Chidambaram will inaugurate 300 new bank branches from the State capital.
The RBI Governor was informed that the state needed at least 3000 new banks branches to come at par with the all India ratio of banks per capital population. The national per capital banks to population ratio is 13000 while for U.P. it is about 16000. As soon as unanimity on the need to expand the banking base was arrived at between the two state holders, a detailed time line for the opening up of the new branches was charted out.
Under the timelines 300 new bank branches would be opened in March, 450 in June, 600 in September, 750 in December and 900 in March 2014. The Akhilesh Yadav Government, in sync. with its priority of developing the countryside, has decided that while proposing opening up of 2 new bank branches in the state the 1598 villages identified and assimilated under the Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya Samagra Gram Yojna would be given priority.

IDBI Bank plans to open about 150 branches and add about 2,000 employees in fiscal 2013-14.
Of the 2,000 recruits, 500 would be for replacement and attrition while 1,500 would be for staffing its new branches.
“We have an advantage of being a young organisation with very few about to retire,” said R. K. Bansal, Executive Director, IDBI Bank.
The average age of IDBI Bank’s employees is 30 years, which, he said, was lower than its peer set.
An attrition rate of 5-6 per cent for a PSU bank such as IDBI is definitely on the higher side, he said, but pointed out that a significant number of its employees were on contract.
With a predominant presence in urban areas, the bank now looks to open more branches in rural and semi-urban areas to facilitate financial inclusion and priority sector lending.
As of end-December, 63 per cent (645 of its 1,019 branches) was in the urban areas. As of March 31, 2012, the bank’s total staff strength was 15,435.

Hi when we can expect IBPS PO 2 waiting list , bcoz most of the banks are announced joining details , except PNB, PSB , BOI , Copr bank & Union bank , and also IOB takes long process for appointment bocz its 3rd batch joining date is 7/7/2013 ...... Ther wil be another batches for IOB so it wil end by aug (Guess) ........ So can u predict and tell us when the waiting list wil come ....
