Finally a notification has been officially published by IBPS on 26.06.13 about 2nd round of allotment of POs and Clerks.. And to a surprise they still havenot planned anything about 2nd list. As per IBPS, no furthur reply is possible about 2nd list before 30.09.13. So people who are waiting for 2nd allotment have to wait till October'13. For full and official notification click here!!

SSC Combined Higher Secondary Level Final Result

Staff Selection Commission has declared the final result of Combined Higher Secondary Level Exam 2012 for the the post of Lower Division Clerk and Data Entry Operator on 22.05.2013.

Written Exam held on 21st and 28th Oct., 4th November 2012 and re-examination for some of the centers on 13-1-2013.

The written result was declared on 23-1-2013.

Written qualified candidates were then called for DEST/Typing Test and now were waiting for the news of their selection or rejection. So friends its time to end the wait as SSC has declared the final result on its official site.

Bank Clerk Salary Structure

Salary Structure of Public Sector Bank Clerks in India

The salary of Bank clerk based on the DA (as on May'2013)

Salary of clerks in most of the Public Sector Banks and some of the Private Banks( who agree to the bipartite settlement of Banks) is same. And last revision in the pay scale has taken place w.e.f November 1,2007.

Almost all the Public Sector Banks place the clerks in the following Pay-scale at the 1st stage of the grade.

Rs. 7200 - (400 * 3) - 8400 - ( 500 * 3) - 9900 - (600 * 4) - 12300 - (700 * 7) - 17200 - (1300 * 1) - 18500 - (800 * 1) - 19300

Initial Basic Pay of a clerk is Rs.7200/-. The figures in the brackets are the annual increment and the number of years they are applicable for. For example. Starting pay is 7200 in May,2013. Annual increment of Rs.400. i.e. in May,2014, basic pay will be 7200+400=7600. This will follow for 3 years. And after 3 years basic pay will be Rs.8400/- with annual increment of 500 for next 3 years and so on.

Other major allowances paid on monthly basis to a bank clerk:

1)  DA (Dearness Allowance): DA in Banks revise on quarterly basis i.e. in the month of February,May,August and November based on CPI as declared by the Government of India. Current DA for the month of May'2013 is 84.15% of the Basic Pay. DA can go up with higher inflation or go down if the inflation is in negative. So DA will be around 84.15% of 7200 = 6058.8

2) HRA (House Rental Allowance) : This depends on the place of posting and it can either be 10%( Metro cities with population more than 45lakhs ) or 9%(population more than 12 lakhs including Goa) or 7.5% (population more than 5lakhs) or 7% (other places).

Total in hand salary including HRA ( if one does not avail leased accommodation) will be around like this:

For Metro Cities : 13978 (approx 14000)
For Places with 9% HRA : 13906.80
For places with 7% HRA : 13798.80
For other places : 13762.80


NEW UPDATE : 10th Bipartite settlement is due for Bank Staffs/employees since November 2012. After this is implemented, it is expected that salary at the entry level in the clerical post will be around 18-20k/month.

As IBPS has declared the state-wise allotment of Banks for Clerk-II, what will be the next step??
As soon as IBPS send the selected candidates details to their allotted Banks, work of IBPS is over here.

IBPS has published its final result / allotment on 06.05.2013 on its official website.

Here, starts the work of the individual Banks. Now each individual Bank will publish the list of roll numbers or along with the branch details of their candidates in their prospective manners.

As of now three of the banks has published their list on their official website. i.e. Indian Overseas Bank, UCO Bank and United Bank of India.

UCO Bank has published the list of roll numbers of selected candidates.Date of Joining is 1st July 2013. Click HERE to check the UCO Bank  list.

IOB has published a notification regarding allotments along with the list of roll numbers of the selected candidates. Click HERE to check the IOB list.

And rest of the Banks will follow more or less the same kind of procedure.

"Each and every selected candidate do not panic. Its time for you to relief."  You will get an e-mail and post of your appointment letter including your joining date and venue details at your door steps , as soon as your allotted Bank releases it.

Then some bank will call you for medical check up like UBI and for some Banks you have to complete the medical report on your own in the Bank's prescribed format like IOB follows.

For CLERICAL Post, unlike POs, in your appointment letter your reporting BRANCH will be mentioned. And you have to report at the branch on the date prescribed to you along with your all documents. And then starts the journey of your new career.

NO, there will be NO TRAINING at the starting of your joining. You will be given your Branch where you will work/learn for the next THREE MONTHS, Then a ONE WEEK TRAINING will be provided to you. And again your posting at the Branch. And After completion of 6 (SIX) complete months i.e. PROBATION PERIOD (for clerk), You will be absorbed as a permanent employee.

IBPS has finally disclosed the most awaited cutoff marks of IBPS Clerk II (2012) CWE (Online exam ) held in Dec 2012.

Mumbai headquartered IBPS, in its recent notification regarding allotment of Clerk 2 selectees , has published the maximum and minimum cutoff of each state. And as the Allotment process is completed, soon candidates will start getting mails ads sms from IBPS.
